Now that I had the platform made, it was secure and level, it was time to figure out how to arrange everything to maximize space and not cram myself with too much stuff. The first and biggest item on the list: the bed. The goal was to make a bed that would fit the width of the opening to the trunk as well as not to be too thick that I couldn't move around. My parents had an old memory foam (i know, luxury) mattress pad topper laying around. Conveniently enough, Cutting it down the middle fit perfectly!

Once the bed was cut to size, I noticed that sliding around on the MDF would not be pleasant. I found some scrap carpet laying around and cut it to size for the drivers side of the car, since this is likely where I'd be entering/exiting the most.

That about covers the cab and necessities. In the trunk is where the emergency kit and kitchen are stored. On the left is the emergency crate with tools, tape and anything I'll need to get myself out of a pickle, or help others to do the same. On the right is the base camp stove and in the crate are plates, bowls and various kitchen items. I've also got trash bags and zip lock bags stashed in there. Behind each of the crates are more boxes full of food items as well as fuel canisters, water bottles and paper towels.
That wraps it up! To finish it off, I'm putting sheets on the pad and using my sleeping bag for a bed. All my belongings are organized into the roof box on top which includes winter gear, climbing gear and all the other things I'll need to have fun for the year.
